We are currently seeking an Associate Project Manager to support our teams in Crawley. This is a hybrid role with office / home split to be agreed on contract.
Description:
The role sits within our Collins Aerospace Airport Division and will see the successful candidate supporting a small team of System Specialists and Project Managers based in various locations throughout the UK, Europe and the Middle East. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and administrating the assets for the life of the various contracts. The successful candidate will report to the Head of European IT Managed Services and Delivery.
Responsibilities:

Responsible for maintaining all reoccurring airport project financials

Coordination with Accounts Management and Finance Teams to ensure all costs are accurately forecast for each project
-
Ensure invoices are accurately processed and paid on time
-
Raise quotes and requisitions for required services and materials
-
Produce and present regular status reports including issues/concerns
-
Undertake project budget tracking activities
-
Administer day-to-day organisational policies and procedures
-
Manage and resolve issues internally through communication with other business units
-
Compile and prepare reports, manuals and correspondence and other information required by managements
-
Assisting and supporting the Project Managers in the PMO
-
Raising purchase requisitions and liaising with both the procurement and shipping teams
-
Scheduling and coordinating project review meetings to leadership / management
-
Tracking and recording project risks and opportunities
-
Looking at ways to increase the project's profitability and reduce expenses where possible
-
Tracking project deadlines
-
Organising and attending stakeholder meetings
-
Providing administrative support
-
Organising project team meetings and recording minutes
-
liaising with clients to determine the project objectives
-
Focal point for any financial queries
-
Ensure Company quality management systems are being adhered to; follow up on discrepancies
Requirements:

Strong analytical mind
-
Entry level Certification in Project Management
-
Strong Microsoft Office Suite skill set
-
Degree preference: in a related field
-
Ability to travel when needed
Preferred:

Possesses a broad working knowledge of Airport IT systems

Second language
-
Entry Level Project Management or Finance Certifications
